After what we have spent so far now this particular player wants to disgrace the whole Club,we have ordered the sport director for Him to be placed on transfer market,” Man United owners the INEOS gave ordered Erik Ten Hag to stop using £50m player until He is sold
We have instructed the sport director to put this player on the transfer market because, after everything we have spent thus far, he wants to bring shame to the entire team. Erik Ten Hag was instructed by Man United’s owners, the INEOS, to cease utilising the £50 million player until he is sold.
Here are five things we learnt from Manchester United’s Sunday morning loss to Arsenal.
After scoring early against Arsenal, Rasmus Hojlund believed he had the perfect start to the preseason, but it wasn’t to be as he left the game soon after due to an injury.
The absence of the Manchester United striker was felt, and Arsenal responded by defeating LA 2-1. Along with Hojlund, Leny Yoro also took an early bath after being hurt.
Even so, there were a lot of good things to take away from the game, including some excellent football early on.
The five lessons we took away from the game are listed below.
Toby Collyer has the makings of a diamond.
If any player shone out in this game, it was Toby Collyer, the rising star in midfield who continued to add outstanding performances to his increasing resume.
It’s already difficult to conceive a situation in which Collyer isn’t starting every week for United this season. Erik ten Hag saw the potential Collyer possessed, and we should all have trusted him.
He appeared to be one of the more poised players on the pitch as he outmuscled Martin Odegaard. He gave an excellent performance, and we’re confident he’ll start against Real Betis again.
Bruno Fernandes will gain from Mason Mount’s willingness to take a chance.
We predicted that Mason Mount’s preseason would be crucial before a ball was kicked this summer, and it’s obvious he felt the same way because he’s looked really good so far.
He was possibly at his best against Arsenal and had a chance to assist when Amad Diallo missed it. In the game, Mount displayed incredible speed and agility, which is encouraging for the upcoming campaign.
This is great news for Bruno Fernandes since it implies that someone can now share minutes with the club captain.
Squad depth is still an issue for United.
Although everyone understood in their hearts that the squad was still quite thin, the previous few weeks covered our eyes. However, with the team below the starting XI being subpar, this is no longer the case.
Specifically, the senior second-string players aren’t performing at the calibre needed to compete with teams like Manchester City and Arsenal.
There wasn’t a single option that even came close to matching Yoro’s profile or quality when he went off. This merely serves to emphasise how much work Ineos still has to accomplish this summer.
Harry Amass ought to be in the starting squad.
Harry Amass, a 17-year-old who appeared to fit at left-back, was another bright spot from the match.
Amass’s dribbling and pressure-evading dashes are too strong for his senior opponents to handle, and he is an incredible sight to witness when he has the ball.
Though the Brazilian was probably offside, it was unfortunate for him to watch Gabriel Jesus score. Nevertheless, he had a fantastic game and we think he will definitely be starting for the first squad this season.
Clearly better organisation this season than last
The team’s ludicrous setup from the previous season nearly invariably resulted in a disastrous outcome for United.
However, there were noticeable adjustments made against Arsenal that improved the team’s structure both with and without the ball.
With a disciplined pairing occasionally on the ball and a very high defensive line that reduces the likelihood of the spaces we saw last season, the midfield is no longer barren.
Andre Onana, age seven
Andre Onana, the lone man to play more than half the game, did a good job of keeping Arsenal from scoring more than two goals.
Six Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Very little went wrong, but not nearly enough to get a grade higher than a 6.
Leny Yoro: 6
His first action was a nervous error, to which he dutifully made a tackle that saved a shot. But in the end, the game’s narrative revolves around his injury.
Harry Maguire, age six
Arsenal did not pose much of a threat, but Harry Maguire did what he had to do and even assisted Harry Amass with his homework.
Harry Amass, 7
Amass stole the show in his maiden start for United with his superb technical abilities. Although he was to blame for the goal, it wasn’t right. Encouraging signals.
Casemiro (6)
was the United midfield’s weakest link, however he did occasionally play defence.
Toby Collyer, age eight
Toby Collyer’s reputation is growing as he outplayed Arsenal in the midfield. His stunning pick-off of Martin Odegaard of the ball was one of his best moments.
Amad Diallo, age six
Amad Diallo should have scored against Rangers, but he wasn’t quite as excellent as he appeared to be.
