Lisandro Martinez has had a really difficult start to the November international break.

In Ruud van Nistelrooy’s last game as manager, Lisandro Martinez was the star of Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City.

Following the Red Devils’ decisive victory over the Foxes, Martinez and three of his teammates were nominated to the team of the week.

Although the 26-year-old had a poor start to the season, there are already indications that Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt are developing a strong defensive connection.

Ruben Amorim, United’s new head coach, will be thrilled with that. He is anticipated to use a 3-4-3 formation with three centre backs at the core of his squad.

Lisandro Martinez has a terrible beginning to his international service.
Martinez will try to fit into Amorim’s plans at United, although he left for international duty before they could meet at Carrington.

In November, 14 United players were called up for international service, including the Argentina star. Martinez travelled to South America to participate in his country’s World Cup qualifying matches.

But along the way, Martinez and his teammates Emiliano Martinez, Cristian Romero, Enzo Fernandez, and Facundo Buonanotte were stuck at an airport in Brazil for thirty hours.

Martinez’s international vacation got off to a terrible start when he was late to meet up with the rest of the Argentina team in Paraguay before their match on Thursday night.

Lionel Scaloni, the manager of Argentina, has now acknowledged that the situation has gotten worse.

Lisandro Martinez’s injury blow is confirmed by the manager.
Martinez has been sidelined due to a hip issue following his delayed arrival with the Argentina team.

Prior to Argentina’s game against Paraguay, Scaloni told the media that Martinez had sustained an unanticipated injury.

Scaloni stated: “We did not expect Lisandro’s case,” as reported by infobae. He had been hit in the back, as we could see, but it seemed like he was merely in pain.

“He had tests done after his pain slightly worsened when he got here, and he is not well enough to return.”
