Jadon Sancho sends message after swapping Man Utd chaos for Champions League final

Jadon Sancho has put his Man Utd struggles behind him to reach the Champions League final

After being cut loose from a faltering Manchester United team, Jadon Sancho is now a finalist in the Champions League while on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

Following his contribution to Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League final, Jadon Sancho used multiple social media posts to express his love for the team.

The winger played a crucial role in both legs as the German team stunned PSG by winning both of their semi-final matches. They now have their sights set on Wembley. The Bundesliga team won by the same score in Paris on Tuesday night, capping off their 1-0 victory at home.

As he continues to rebuild his career at the team where he first gained notoriety, Sancho played a significant role in both games. The Manchester United loanee was a part of a grittier display in the Parc des Princes after the Englishman’s performance in the first leg had a significant impact.

He shared a team photo on the field complete with black and yellow heart emojis. “Wow, unbelievable @BVB. Champions League Final!” was another thing he said. Social media users started to share videos of the team having fun, in which Sancho led them in a singing session to Adele’s ballad “Someone Like You.”

Sancho, who was shut out of Manchester United after criticizing Erik ten Hag on social media and alleging he was being used as a “scapegoat” after the player was left off of the matchday squad early in the season, has made quite the comeback.

The expectation is that he will eventually leave permanently if Ten Hag does not continue in his post, but he was allowed to leave in January as all parties attempted to reach a resolution. The Dutchman did not pick him again. It seems that the couple’s relationship is irreparable.

Before Ten Hag came to Manchester, Sancho had a hard time defending the £70 million that United had spent on his signing in 2021. During his first stint at Dortmund, he was a regular star, but he hasn’t been able to duplicate that level of play in the Premier League.

He appears to be returning to that level now that he is back with the Germans. Dortmund is currently in fifth place in the domestic standings, which is not ideal, but it will do for the Champions League. However, in Europe, they have advanced past the group of death and defeated a number of formidable opponents in the knockout stages.

The manager, Edin Terzic, has already acknowledged that he has no idea whether Dortmund will be able to keep Sancho in the future, with money likely to be the biggest obstacle. Still, their attention is now on Wembley, where they were defeated by Jurgen Klopp in the 2013 Champions League final.
