Liverpool is currently dealing with a setback as one of its key players suffers a significant injury during the international break.

During the season, Liverpool has been contending with a series of injuries, which continues to be a burden even for players who are now on loan. Owen Beck, now on loan at Dundee, is expected to return to Merseyside due to a groin injury. The injury is severe enough to potentially sideline him until late April, as reported by The Courier. The manager of Dundee, Tony Docherty, revealed that Beck will undergo a four to six week recuperation time under the supervision of Liverpool for exceptional treatment.

Beck is making his second trip back to Liverpool from Dundee this season. He was called back in January because of a shortage of left-backs at Anfield. Although facing this setback, his loan has not been revoked, and there is still optimism that he can recover in time for the Scottish Premiership’s post-split fixtures. Beck, who is 21 years old, had been consistently playing at Dens Park, which is different from his prior loan experiences at Famalicao and Bolton.

Given the availability of Liverpool’s advanced medical facilities, it is expected that Beck’s recuperation will be accelerated, allowing him to resume his contribution to Dundee’s campaign before the end of the season.
