Although De Ligt has been signed by his former Ajax manager Erik ten Hag, he may encounter challenges in securing a place in the squad. ‘It is important to remember that he is quite young.’ Although there may be occasional errors, he possesses all the essential qualities of a contemporary centre-back. I am confident that he will have a promising future.
