After being questioned by Mark Pougatch and Ian Wright, Roy Keane’s response to entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle was quite telling.

Roy Keane, a former player for Manchester United, spoke bluntly when questioned about appearing on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The topic of discussion in the ITV studio during the halftime coverage of England’s 5-0 victory against the Republic of Ireland at Wembley shifted from football to issues in the jungle.

Presenter Mark Pougatch asked Ian Wright, “Do you think we should get somebody in the jungle?” after Keane delivered a critical assessment of Kyle Walker’s challenge. I’m A Celebrity’s 24th season will premiere on Sunday night at 9 p.m. BST. It is anticipated that celebrities like Alan Halsall from Coronation Street and Coleen Rooney, the wife of United great Wayne, will appear on the reality TV program.

Wright, a former forward for Arsenal and England who placed ninth in the 2019 season of I’m A Celebrity, and Pougatch then hinted that Keane ought to venture into the Australian jungle in the future.

Pougatch said: “A pointer towards the new series of I’m A Celebrity which starts tonight here on ITV 1 at 9pm – five years to the night where we gathered in Kosovo to watch Ian Wright walking a plank a long way up.”

In response, Wright said, “That was scary, so scary.”

“Do you think we should get somebody in the jungle [hinting at Keane]?” Pougatch retorted. Wright responded, “I believe he ought to enter.” It was the best thing that had ever happened to my friends James Haskell and Nadine Coyle. Apart than that, there wasn’t much food or sleep. That’s all I can recall.

Wright and Pougatch then seemed to be staring at Keane, but he was not providing any clues. However, the Irishman, who was grinning and trying to keep his lips shut, was heard to say: “Not for me.”

England ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over the Republic of Ireland to top their Nations League group thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Anthony Gordon, Conor Gallagher, Jarrod Bowen and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.
