According to the Daily Briefing, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is apparently near to negotiating personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, who will subsequently visit the Red Devils later this week.

Sancho looked back to his best in his second experience in German football and spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, therefore enabling BVB to reach the Champions League final.

Though it could end up costing them as much as €50–60m, Sancho seems to be now clearly on PSG’s radar. The player’s representatives will seek to negotiate with Man Utd next.

Based on public remarks made by Erik ten Hag on the England international, whom he has hailed as a great talent, the Daily Briefing believe United is now open to keeping Sancho.

According to the Daily Briefing’s report, PSG manager Luis Enrique personally advocates Sancho as a left-hand side successor for Kylian Mbappe.

Sancho is not in the same category as Mbappe, but on his day he may be another dangerous alternative in attack, combining pace, talent and a goal threat from out wide, also allowing him to slide centrally or play on the right flank as wel.

PSG won’t easy find anyone else who can replace Mbappe either, hence it could be wise for them to try for someone like Sancho if he is within reach for the proper price.

The Ligue 1 giants will try an initial bid of €40m for the 24-year-old, according to the Daily Briefing; almost probably, this will not be sufficient, therefore it will be interesting to watch if an agreement can be made or if they proceed to other targets.
