COMPLETED: Chelsea have finally achieved the last stage of agreement with a striker who is worth £100 million and who scored 50 goals in all competitions in the previous season. City contacted him with a strong offer, but he chose to join Chelsea by January. please come home, young man.

There is a widespread belief that Victor Osimhen has no intention of extending his loan agreement with Galatasaray during the transfer window that occurs in January.

Chelsea attempted to negotiate until the very last few hours of the transfer window in order to purchase Osimhen permanently over the summer. However, they were unable to reach an agreement before the deadline. Napoli’s goal was to sell Osimhen permanently. As a result of the striker’s inability to join the Napoli team and the fact that his opportunity to transfer to another top-five league has been eliminated, Osimhen has secured a loan to Galatasaray, a Turkish club, for a period of twelve months.

It has been speculated that Chelsea may rekindle their interest in Osimhen during the winter transfer window; however, Florian Plettenberg has stated that the Nigerian international player is not interested in leaving Galatasaray at an earlier stage.

It is reported that Osimhen, who has established himself as a fan favourite and the talisman of the squad, is enjoying his time in Istanbul. Furthermore, he is not currently considering anything other than his current loan deal. Osimhen has scored eight goals and provided four assists in just nine games this season.

The money involved – Napoli intend to want at least €75 million (£62.7 million) – make it nearly difficult for Galatasaray to complete a permanent signing of Osimhen, despite the fact that we believe he would be interested in such a move. Galatasaray is even anticipated to try to sign him permanently next summer.

This may present an opportunity for Chelsea, who, in contrast to Galatasaray, are in a position to withstand the financial burden of such a costly transfer.

Following the failure of their attempt to acquire Osimhen, Chelsea decided against signing a new striker. The manager, Enzo Maresca, has continued to have trust in Nicolas Jackson, who has scored six goals in eleven Premier League games. Christopher Nkunku, who is a reserve option, has scored nine goals in seven cup games.
