Manchester United player Bruno Fernandes has acknowledged that he started crying when he was told he would be joining Old Trafford.

The Portugal international eventually joined the Red Devils from Sporting in January after being linked to a deal multiple times during the previous year.

Growing up, Fernandes watched Cristiano Ronaldo make a name for himself in the Premier League with United. He admits that when he realised that his dream of doing the same was coming true, he was overtaken with emotion.
