Following Gareth Southgate’s decision to ignore him in the past, a Premier League player has disclosed that he has had conversations with Thomas Tuchel, who has recently taken over as the head coach of England.

Tuchel, who is 51 years old, was given the position of England manager in October, and he officially began performing his duties in January; however, he has not yet been in charge of a game.

However, as the international break in March draws near, the German coach will soon announce his team for the World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place at Wembley Stadium on March 21 and 24, respectively, against Albania and Latvia.

A number of players, including Jude Bellingham, Jordan Pickford, and Harry Kane, are likely to be among the first names on the team sheet, provided that injuries do not prevent them from becoming available.

Tuchel, on the other hand, might be interested in exploring the various options that are available to him in other areas of the pitch.

A number of England’s best players, including Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, and Morgan Gibbs-White, will be vying for a spot in the number ten position. These players will all be competing for your attention.

When it comes to the Three Lions squad, however, there is yet another attacking midfielder who is looking to return to them.

James Maddison, a midfielder for Tottenham Hotspur, has not played for his country since he won his seventh cap against Bosnia and Herzegovina in a friendly match at St. James’ Park. The match was a 3-0 victory. The match was held in advance of the 2024 European Championship.

Southgate, who was the coach of England at the time, included Maddison, who was 28 years old, in his provisional squad of 33 players prior to the European Championships.

With that being said, the 28-year-old player did not make it into the final squad of 26 players that travelled to Germany.

Maddison stated that Thomas Tuchel had made contact with the organisation. I believe that he was making contact with a large number of players who would be included in the selection, which were most likely drawn from a large pool of players that the FA had identified.

“My hunger is raging to be a part of that. I have the impression that I am in good form, my numbers are pretty good, and there are not a lot of midfielders who are capable of outscoring and outassisting me with their goals.

“In particular at this moment, when I am also feeling good and thinking clearly. It is my knowledge that I can influence the majority of games. To put it simply, it is about carrying on with that. If I am able to perform at that level for Tottenham, then everything else will fall into place because I have a really strong belief in myself. This is something that I continue to say.

In the current season, the Spurs player has made 33 appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s team, during which he has scored ten goals and assisted on seven others.
