Gary Neville has finally spoken out about the offer he received from Manchester United and has expressed his strong desire to fulfill his ambition of managing at Old Trafford.
Gary Neville emphasizes the significance of the Old Trafford regeneration, acknowledging that there is a substantial amount of work and unanswered concerns that need to be addressed.
Last week, the 49-year-old was recruited by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, one of the owners of United, along with Lord Sebastian Coe, who had bid for the London 2012 Olympics. The CEO of the Ineos group aims to renovate the Theatre of Dreams, which is currently in a state of disrepair and neglect in certain areas, into a contemporary venue suitable for hosting international matches and prestigious finals.
Both Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham and Chief Executive of Trafford Council, Sara Todd, are part of the task committee. Coe led the successful campaign to host the Olympics 12 years ago, resulting in the transformation of Stratford in East London and the establishment of West Ham United as its home since 2016.
