“I wish him well as he joins Man United, he told me.However, I think FIFA is aware that Man United is gradually posing a threat to our wonderful game of football. The manager of the club screams as his best player asks to join Manchester United.

Man United is still interested in acquiring Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries.

Talks of a possible right-back position switch have gained traction over the past several days. Though it’s generally believed that the Reds must sell before they can purchase, Manchester United has been linked to a deal to sign Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui.

Therefore, it makes sense to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who will probably lose his spot in the team in the event that a right-back is signed.

In the past day or two, Denzel Dumfries, a well-known name, has been added back into the mix for United by the Daily Mail.

As of right now, United is said to “like” the 28-year-old full-back. United has even reconsidered the idea of Wan-Bissaka and Dumfries trading places. Discussions don’t progress.

It has been stated once more that Ten Hag is “stepping up” their efforts to bring in another full-back to the team due to worries regarding Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw’s fitness.

Dumfries has reportedly had United as “admirers” for “several years” due to the team’s continued interest in the Inter player.

Last season, Dumfries made 34 appearances in all competitions—more than Shaw and Malacia combined.

United’s problem has been maintaining player fitness. The manager does not want a situation where Victor Lindelof is forced to play left-back because of injuries occurring again. It would make sense to make a move for someone who has consistently been fit, like Dumfries.

But in terms of football specifically, I’m not sure he’s a tremendous improvement over Wan-Bissaka. Dumfries would probably also cost more per week in wages.

To be honest, I still find it disappointing that Alvaro Fernandez was never given a genuine opportunity to shine.
