“He’s the only good player in the whole Man United team now… If Erik ten Hag don’t want to be sacked, he should make the mistake he made last season”: Erik ten Hag told to avoid benching ONE Man United’s player if he really want to keep his job

Rio Ferdinand stated that Amad Diallo is making a strong case to start for Manchester United every week, even in spite of the team’s defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion.

United was defeated 2-1 at the Amex Stadium; goals from Danny Welbeck and Joao Pedro prevented them from splitting the points.

In the second half, Amad scored the lone goal for the Red Devils. The Ivorian cut in from the right and slammed the ball home with a brilliant move.

Amad deserved this moment, and he naturally dedicated his achievement to his stepmother, who had passed away the day before he had broken the heartbreaking news of her passing.

The 22-year-old has started every United Premier League match against Fulham and Brighton, and Ferdinand believes that he shouldn’t be benched considering his current form.

Ferdinand told TNT Sports how happy he was for Madi. I’m quite glad for him. He’s obviously had a rough week because of his stepmother’s passing. But judging by his performance tonight, he’s got a lot going on. Then a beautiful small ball, one tiny bit, inside the wide person. And this is a quintessential Amad move.

Anyone who’s watched him play knows that he can jerk the full-back, go outside, and then come back inside. and to calmly crush it after that. It defends as well.

But I thought he deserved that. By his performance this evening, he is positioning himself to play this week and every week.

Pedro’s late strike was made possible by the Brighton attacker going unmarked at the back post with plenty of room and time on his hands thanks to a poor United defense.

Ferdinand stated that the result could have been different if Harry Maguire had been on the field at that precise moment. Ten Hag blasted United’s administration for that particular event.

The new signing Matthijs de Ligt replaced Maguire in the substitution.

Ferdinand said, “I thought Harry Maguire played very well and grew into the game.” I thought he was Man United’s finest center-back of the day, if not the greatest defender in general.

Sincerely, I was taken aback by his firing. If he had stayed on the field, maybe he would have taken the lead and spoken during the second set piece.

When center backs leave the pitch during a game for no obvious reason other than an injury, it can be a little puzzling. In our time, it was not the case. In the end, he needs to maintain the satisfaction of a large number of gamers.

Ferdinand went on, “[Matthijs] De Ligt is in there and he looked comfortable when he came on.” I wouldn’t say Maguire had a bad game; for the most part, he played a pretty solid game.
