Hull City’s predicted XI to face Norwich City with SEVEN players missing due to injury

Head coach Sergej Jakirovic must decide whether to resort to his preferred system for Saturday’s trip to Norwich City, where he hopes to extend Hull City’s unbeaten streak to six games.

City travel to Norwich seeking for their fourth win in five games. They will face a team that has lost all five of their home games thus far, and their manager, Liam Manning, is under increasing pressure as the Canaries lie second bottom of the Championship. Jakirovic chose three central defenders and wing-backs, foregoing wingers in favor of a more pragmatic approach against Charlton Athletic’s more aggressive style. That strategy nearly resulted in City’s fourth consecutive Championship win, but they were pegged back in stoppage time after falling asleep at a cheap 91st-minute corner kick. City will be searching for their first win at Carrow Road since 2010, without Liam Millar and Mohamed Belloumi, but Joel Ndala and David Akintola are both pushing for returns on the flanks against a team notorious for dominating the ball. In the absence of Oli McBurnie, who is expected to return next week, Jakirovic may choose to move Kyle Joseph to the wing and give Enis Destan his first start through the middle. The Tigers manager will be able to call on Matt Crooks despite an ongoing shoulder injury that he sustained in the win over Leicester City last week, but the injury list continues to grow, with the Croatian still unable to call on John Lundstram, Akin Famewo, Kasey Palmer, Eliot Matazo, Belloumi, Millar, and McBurnie.
