“Since he has the audacity to threaten me, I have chosen to allow him to join Man United. However, please know that I take no responsibility if the club destroys his career.” Finally, the club manager gave up on keeping the £61m. Man united transfer target following the star’s repeated requests for a transfer by January

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, looks safe for the time being, but if the team keeps losing after the international break, he might be fired without much thinking because of the pressure he has already faced due to a run of bad performances.

As to a report from TEAMtalk (using Spanish source Fichajes), the German ‘demands’ Ronald Araujo’s signing from Barcelona as a condition to accepting the coaching post with United. Thomas Tuchel’s name has been mentioned within the club to replace Ten Hag. He pursued Araujo since he was a player for Bayern Munich, thus his interest in the player has been ongoing.

Although Araujo was linked to Barca earlier this year, it is anticipated that he will fetch around £84 million. TEAMtalk’s report also states that the player is “very happy” in Catalonia, where he is presently recovering from an injury.

Whether or whether Manchester United’s board grants Tuchel’s request to be appointed is still to be seen; this is especially true given that the club recruited Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt this summer in addition to other high-paying reinforcements.

Araujo’s signing is a strange possibility.
It doesn’t appear that Manchester United will be very interested in recruiting Ronald Araujo, and Barcelona won’t be eager to let him go either as they are starting to see some improvement in their financial situation after years of difficulties.

Additionally, the Red Devils may not want to sign any more central defenders, least of all one as costly as Araujo, after engaging in some quite extravagant spending in the recent past and acquiring two players with very high ceilings.

Although Tuchel seems well-positioned to succeed Ten Hag as United’s manager, Man Utd officials are unlikely to approve Ten Hag’s demand to sign Araujo should they extend an offer to him. Ten Hag’s position as United’s manager remains fragile.
