I love Man united but I’ll join PSG on one condition – Marcus Rashford has made feelings clear on Man Utd exit as PSG prepare huge bid for striker
Marcus Rashford has announced his desire to depart from Manchester United, as Paris Saint-Germain is getting ready to make a significant bid for the forward.
Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly selected Marcus Rashford as their preferred candidate to replace Kylian Mbappe.
The Ligue 1 champions will have to search for a substitute for their prominent striker in the upcoming summer transfer window, since Mbappe has announced his desire to leave the club without any transfer price.
Real Madrid is expected to bolster their already talented team by getting Mbappe, a player they have been actively after for several years.
Mbappe was the highest-paid athlete in Paris, and PSG is likely to use the money saved from his salary to find a suitable replacement.
Rashford had previously garnered notice, with clubs showing interest in procuring him in 2022. Nevertheless, he made the choice to enter into a fresh, extended agreement with Manchester United, thereby pledging to remain at Old Trafford.
This season, the attacker has faced difficulties under the management of Erik ten Hag, managing to score only seven goals in 34 appearances. Additionally, the club has taken disciplinary action against the attacker for an incident that occurred off the field.
However, PSG’s interest remains unaffected, as they are prepared to offer £75m to get Rashford to France, as reported by the Daily Mirror.
In an interview with The Players Tribune, the England international has reaffirmed his commitment to United and expressed his eagerness to assist in restoring the club to its former successes, while facing challenges.
“I must admit, I am not flawless,” he stated. “I am willing to take responsibility for my mistakes and acknowledge that I need to improve.”
“However, if you ever doubt my dedication to Manchester United, that is when I must assert myself.” It feels as though someone is challenging my entire sense of self and all the principles I uphold as a man.
“This is my place of upbringing.” I have been a member of this club since my childhood. During my childhood, my family declined a significant amount of money that could have greatly impacted our lives, just so that I may proudly wear this badge.
The article states that despite Rashford’s strong loyalty to his childhood club, PSG is confident in their ability to persuade him to replace Mbappe.
