“I would have be frustrated without him here”: Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund praises ONE team-mate who he has been nothing without as he reveals what he has done to him to make him better goal scorer now

Rasmus Hojlund praised the skills of Alejandro Garnacho, emphasizing his essential role in winning both penalties during Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday.

The Argentinian player displayed exceptional skill and agility, outmaneuvering the defensive line of the Merseyside club. As a result, James Tarkowski committed a foul on him in the 10th minute, leading to Bruno Fernandes successfully scoring from a penalty kick taken from a distance of 12 yards. After 24 minutes, the result remained unchanged when Ben Godfrey made a reckless tackle on player No.17, and this time Marcus Rashford successfully scored from the penalty spot.

The victory was crucial in restoring United’s momentum after two consecutive league defeats, and it also boosted the confidence of the team despite some players being unavailable due to fitness concerns.

One such player was Hojlund, who enjoyed a streak of six consecutive matches where he contributed to the scoresheet until experiencing a muscular issue last month. In the absence of his goals, other players have had to assume responsibility, and witnessing Garnacho rise to the occasion seems to have brought great joy to the Norwegian.

After the match, the winger used Instagram to share a collection of photos, some of which showed the jubilation from Saturday’s victory. In addition, he posted a cryptic caption consisting solely of an ellipsis and the speaking head emoji.

Hojlund responded in the comments of his teammate’s post with a concise yet affectionate message: “Long live Garnacho.”

The young duo may soon have the opportunity to play together, as indicated by the recent update from Erik ten Hag, potentially within a week. Before the Everton match, the manager announced that Hojlund, along with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire, were expected to recover from their injuries and participate in the next FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
