Manchester United has allegedly identified the Brazilian player as a top priority for the upcoming summer transfer window. His skills and capabilities have the potential to enhance their defensive capabilities significantly.

Manchester United is currently undergoing a significant transformation under the leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the chairman of INEOS. He is actively revamping the club’s transfer policy in order to narrow the gap between Manchester United and the best teams in the Premier League, namely Manchester City and Liverpool.

The new minority owner of United has pledged to dethrone their rivals, but has also cautioned against excessive expenditure, citing the underwhelming performance of numerous high-profile transfers at Old Trafford in the last ten years.

United is now addressing areas of concern within the club and is only seeking players that align with their core values for their future.

When the summer transfer window opens, the primary priority will be to rejuvenate an aging backline, and it is reported that Juventus is keen on acquiring Gleison Bremer, a strong and influential defender.

According to Calciomercato, the Red Devils have initiated communication with the agents of the Brazilian player. Despite Juventus recently securing him with a new contract in December, they are willing to engage in negotiations for a potential deal.

According to inews, the agreement contained a release clause of €50 million (£43m/$54m), which is considered a very good deal for a player as talented as Bremer.

“Through my experiences on the streets, I acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to avoid defeat.” I acquired the skill of assertiveness in playing football on the streets. I also acquired the skill of being subtly cunning. You can evade your adversaries and occasionally the referee.

Bremer generated revenue by selling ice-creams to support his travel expenses for away games with Desportivo. His astuteness in navigating the streets enabled him to swiftly establish himself as a crucial player of the team, leading to a loan transfer to the renowned Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2016. At the age of 19, he made his professional debut for the reserves and played a crucial role in their victory in the Under-20 Copa do Brasil.

According to South American site Hoje em Dia, Sao Paulo had the option to retain Bremer for an additional year by paying only £40,000. However, they delayed making a decision on his future, which gave Atletico Mineiro the opportunity to quickly acquire his services.

Bremer formally became a member of Atletico in March 2017 and made his debut in a professional match three months later in a Brazilian Serie A game against Chapecoense.

The skilled defender was then granted a contract extension after only four games in his debut season, attracting the attention of several prominent European clubs. Ultimately, Atletico was unable to dissuade him from pursuing new opportunities.

Torino successfully secured Bremer’s signature in the summer of 2018 by reaching a £5m agreement with Atletico.

He entered into a five-year agreement at the Stadio Olimpico Grande, but, he had to be patient for an opportunity to have a noteworthy influence.

Transferring to Old Trafford would be the most logical choice, considering Manchester United’s urgent requirement for a defender with similar characteristics. As to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Manchester United is reportedly open to including Mason Greenwood as part of a deal with Juventus for Bremer. This could potentially reduce the price of the transfer to as low as £34m ($43m).

The addition of Bremer has the potential to establish a foundation for a prosperous new period under Ratcliffe and United’s new INEOS administration.

“You desire to arrive while engaged in play.” During an interview with Esporte Interativo, he expressed his lack of comprehension regarding the strategies employed in Italian football, which he found to be completely distinct from those used in Brazil. “The game is highly strategic, utilizing a significant amount of playing area and emphasizing speed.”

“I enjoy both La Liga and the Premier League, but I find the Premier League to be an exceptionally thrilling competition. I watch a significant number of matches, and they are highly engaging,” Bremer expressed to The Telegraph. “Someday, I aspire to compete in the Premier League.”
