Ben White, a defender for Arsenal, had to have a minor procedure last week due to ongoing joint issues. This situation was mentioned by Mikel Arteta in his pregame speech before the defeat to Newcastle.

“Ben [White] didn’t make it to start because he only had half a session yesterday,” Arteta revealed for the third time. It’s a small issue, so we have to protect him.

The defender missed Arsenal’s games against Leicester City, Southampton, PSG, and Bolton due to what is reportedly a knee injury. Although White completed the last season strongly after having some time off in Dubai, it is unknown how much he will be laid off this time.

Jurrien Timber is prepared to fill in even though he has been playing left-back in his last games. It might also open the door for Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko, or Myles Lewis-Skelly to take over on the left side of defence.

As winter approaches, everyone’s eyes are on Riccardo Calafiori’s potential return because his presence might be essential in a busy schedule. Arteta stated at the end of October that Calafiori might be gone for some time, saying, “I’d say it will be out for a few weeks.”

He will therefore most likely miss the matches against Nottingham Forest, Sporting CP, and West Ham. However, Martin Odegaard’s early return has confounded predictions, so fans may still have optimism.

White walks into the treatment room queue alongside squadmates Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney. It is hoped that this hiatus will greatly lower the number of injuries, even though it has grown.

Arsenal will play Nottingham Forest once more following the international break, and they are aware that they need to win a lot of games to get closer to league leaders Liverpool.
