“I’m sure you can see the TV” – Everything Mauricio Pochettino says on Cole Palmer allowing Raheem Sterling to take Chelsea penalty during FA Cup win vs Leicester City

Everything Mauricio Pochettino says about Cole Palmer letting Raheem Sterling take Chelsea’s penalty during their FA Cup victory over Leicester City is captured on television.

Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling appeared to argue over who should receive a penalty during Chelsea’s FA Cup victory over Leicester, but Mauricio Pochettino has stood up for both players.

In the first half of a thrilling quarterfinal at Stamford Bridge, Sterling wrestled the ball away from Palmer with the opportunity to double Chelsea’s lead, but Palmer’s spot-kick was saved.

To overcome Championship opponents who played the final 20 minutes with ten men, Pochettino’s team needed two goals in stoppage time.

After a challenging first season at the club, Pochettino was relieved to finally have a trip to Wembley.

Following the altercation, the Argentine supported Palmer and Sterling, saying he would “always support” decisions made on the field.

Cole gave the ball to Raheem when he asked for it for the penalty, according to Pochettino. “That is not an issue, despite what you saw on TV.

Raheem can miss, Cole can miss. Their choice is what matters to me, and I will always back my players’ choices on the field.

It’s clear that I have nothing to hide. Like you, I will support Sterling even though I don’t think the feelings were good for him. Together, we will stand by him.

“We must acknowledge. Not that we agree or disagree, but we must accept it because all football fans, including ours, have high expectations and want what’s best for the team and the players.

On the weekend of April 20–21, Chelsea will play Manchester City in the FA Cup final to advance.

Another deep run thrilled Pochettino as he pursues his first trophy with the team after the team lost to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley earlier in the season.

Former Tottenham manager Pochettino insisted, “We are going to Wembley for the second time, FA Cup, Carabao Cup.”

“They told me we had to go to Wembley, we had to go to Wembley” when I arrived in Southampton, England. “We need to go to Wembley, we need to go to Wembley,” said Tottenham.

Now that we’ve reached Wembley after nine months of two distinct competitions, we must enjoy ourselves and have greater faith.

“I’m a really upbeat individual. I genuinely believe in our supporters, in our team, and most importantly, in the staff that we have today—all of them are outstanding. And our players, of course.

“Young [players], but I’m having a great time assisting them in realizing their goals. Without a doubt, working together, we will succeed.
