Jamie Carragher reacts angrily to Rio Ferdinand’s Liverpool post after Manchester United’s win.

Jamie Carragher warned Rio Ferdinand that the thrilling Manchester United victory over Liverpool would not be remembered as much.

After Manchester United defeated Liverpool in the FA Cup semifinal, Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, responded to Rio Ferdinand.

Amad Diallo’s goal in the 120th minute propelled United to the FA Cup semifinals in an exciting match against Liverpool. Diallo was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for removing his shirt while having fun.

Marcus Rashford’s equalizing goal in the 112th minute dashed Liverpool’s hopes of winning the quadruple for manager Jurgen Klopp, who was still hanging on for the win. Even though it appeared that the game would go to penalties, Diallo ended up being Erik ten Hag’s team’s unsung hero.

Since then, United has realized their fate and will play Championship rival Coventry City at Wembley the following month. Carragher thinks Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City team will win a trophy by “comfortably” defeating the New York Red Devils in the championship game. Manchester City will play Chelsea.

Carragher replied to Ferdinand’s tweet, “Wembley!” with the following: “Relax [two laughing emojis].” Man City will easily defeat you in the championship game, and ETH will still be in control the following year. It’s not what you believe to be a victory!
