After Pep Guardiola was questioned about the former Liverpool player’s recent allegations regarding Erling Haaland, Jamie Carragher took to social media to respond to the question.

Carragher, a former player for Liverpool, posed a question on Wednesday evening regarding the reason why Haaland was not selected to start for Manchester City in their Champions League match against Real Madrid.

“So let me work this out,” he said while he was being interviewed by CBS Sports. It was this morning that Haaland went to the manager and told him that he is not fit right? What are your thoughts on the possibility that this is connected to Rudiger? If Rudiger is playing, then why is that the case?

Because he is sitting on the bench, it is impossible for him to sustain an injury. Is it a case of Rud-itis? Is that what we are attempting to convey here?

Kylian Mbappe scored a hat trick to seal a 3-1 victory for Madrid on the night, and the team advanced to the round of 16 after winning 6-3 on aggregate. It was clear that City did not have Haaland on their roster.

The question of whether Guardiola would comment on Carragher’s allegations regarding Haaland was posed to him before City’s Premier League match against Liverpool.

Oh, God, he said in response. Did he use that phrase? Who was it that Jamie Carragher said? Oh my God.

Don’t laugh at me. It is beyond my comprehension why he is so suspicious of that. It was he who stated that Haaland was unwilling to participate in the game. Not only is it not nice, but it is also not true. It was completely insane for him (Haaland) to participate in the game. Due to a problem with his knee, he was unable to participate in the game.

After the video of Guardiola went viral on social media, Carragher was quick to respond, claiming that the journalist who asked the question was making a joke out of the situation. He also attacked the journalist who asked the question.

In response to Erling Haaland’s claim, Jamie Carragher has responded.

“It was a joke to wind up Micah Richards as that is the nature of our show on CBS,” the former defender wrote in his letter. despite the fact that you are aware of that, @MullockSMirror, you just thought that how about we get a big headline for my piece? It’s just another Sunday paper!!!”

Following that, Simon Mullock responded by saying, “I’ve watched it once more. There is no way that it could be a joke. At first, there was no one who laughed. Additionally, there were a number of other reporters present in the audience. Not a single one of them put forth the possibility that it was a joke.

After receiving this, Carragher continued by saying, “In the room with reporters?? It was broadcast on television. Sometimes my jokes don’t go over well!

“But we are both aware that I was trying to dissuade Micah, and you have recognised an opportunity to make a headline. Please just admit it.
