Liverpool is yet to make any signings this summer, but there are reports that they have made an offer to acquire a new attacker, indicating a potential change in their current situation.

The Merseyside club has not yet demonstrated their prowess in the summer transfer market.

During the previous summer, under Jurgen Klopp’s guidance, Liverpool acquired several midfielders to rejuvenate their midfield following the departures of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, and James Milner.

During the summer, there has been a period of silence from the Premier League heavyweights. However, recent reports suggest that they have made an offer to acquire the services of an attacking player who showcased great performances for his national team during Euro 2024.

Baris Alper Yilmaz, who had an outstanding season with Galatasaray and played a crucial role in the national football team’s win in Euro 2024, has attracted the attention of other English teams.

According to Turkish daily Ajanspor, Liverpool has allegedly submitted a proposal of £25 million for Galatasaray’s striker Yilmaz.

Throughout his 108 games for Galatasaray, he has demonstrated versatility by playing in seven distinct positions, including both full-back positions.

Although he did not score any goals or provide any assists during the Euros this summer, his overall performance attracted the attention of some of the biggest teams worldwide.

Should Liverpool consider acquiring Galatasaray’s versatile and energetic attacker?
His ability to play in multiple spots in the forward line makes him an outstanding player, which is why Liverpool is keen to get him for Anfield this summer.

During the previous season, he actively engaged in 55 matches for the yellow-reds, contributing 12 assists and scoring seven goals.

The response from Galatasaray over Liverpool’s bid for a reporter remains uncertain. However, as per the source, the Turkish attacker did travel to London during the summer.

Acquiring a player who can augment the squad’s calibre and elevate the performance of their teammates, as seen at the Euros for his national team, would be an optimal approach for Liverpool to initiate their transfer endeavours. The Reds would greatly benefit from this player’s ability to have a good influence on the club.
