After Erling Haaland’s near-accident during training in Norway on Tuesday, Manchester City supporters were left holding their collective breath.

In advance of the upcoming international friendlies against Czechia and Slovakia, the Blues’ talisman has reunited with his country this week. The forward was seen hobbling and stooped over while attempting to finish the training, though.

Pep Guardiola will be hoping that Haaland’s injury has not worsened, particularly as City moves into a crucial part of the season. In light of this, MEN Sport has compiled a list of all the injuries that the Blues, Liverpool, and Arsenal have to worry about before the final stretch.

Man City injuries
Erling Haaland

The initial doubts regarding Haaland’s fitness surfaced during the FA Cup victory over Newcastle United. Guardiola tried to allay these worries by telling his players not to overextend themselves in the upcoming friendlies, even though he was substituted for Julian Alvarez late in the game.

Kevin De Bruyne

The playmaker for City hurt his groin before the team beat Newcastle, and he withdrew from the current international break to concentrate on healing. De Bruyne is expected to return for the match against Arsenal.

Edson

Following his leg injury sustained during the Liverpool match, Ederson was forced to leave the game. He had also given up a penalty. Guardiola is optimistic that Arsenal will have his first-choice ‘keeper available.

Arsenal’s injuries
Magalhaes, Gabriel

The sudden withdrawal of the Gunners’ center-back from the Brazil squad was a blow. According to Football.london, this was a preventative step because of an Achilles problem that they hope to fix in time for the City match.

Timber Jurrien

After suffering an ACL injury in the summer, Timber has been sidelined for an extended period of time. Although he has resumed training, the defender’s official return date is still unknown.

Martinelli, Gabriel

Due to a foot injury, Martinelli was unable to participate in the victory over Porto. Similar to Timber, there is no estimated time of return, but it is not thought to be a serious injury.

Liverpool’s injuries
Darwin Nunez

Nunez’s hamstring injury has forced him out of the Uruguay team. Whether he will return when the Premier League resumes at the end of this month is still up in the air.

Luis Diaz

Although Reds manager Jurgen Klopp acknowledged that Diaz felt pain in his groin during the loss to Manchester United, the Colombian star has practiced this week to allay worries.

Cody Gakpo

The forward for Liverpool twisted his ankle against United, but it isn’t thought to be a major injury at this time.

Ibrahima Konate

The center back may be ready by the end of March, as he was not fully recovered for the FA Cup match at Old Trafford.

Trent Arnold Alexander

Although Alexander-Arnold has been out of the lineup for a while for Liverpool, he is expected to make a comeback, with Klopp designating the match against Sheffield United as such.

Jones, Curtis

The midfield player is anticipated to return for the match against Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of this month, despite suffering an injury during the team’s victory over Brentford.

Alisson Becker

The number one for Liverpool has been sidelined for some time due to a muscle ailment. Although Klopp has acknowledged that it is a serious problem, the Merseyside club is hoping he will return by the start of next month.

Diogo Jota

Jota was also hurt against Brentford, and there were worries he might be sidelined for a long while. The winger is anticipated to return for the match against Sheffield United, though.
