Man United has released their new away kit for the upcoming season. The pattern is based on three rivers in the city, and the £110 shirt looks like it came from the 1990s.

United has put up the blue strip, which shows the city’s three rivers.
The club wants to keep fans and players in touch with home while they play away.
Before the new year, they opened their home strip at the beginning of the month.

The new Manchester United away kit for the 2024–25 season has been released. The pattern is based on the city’s three rivers.

The launch video for the new strip features stars like Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Leah Galton. The strip is a dark shade of blue that has been applied in a number of circles.

The shirt is a nod to the 3D logos that used to be on Manchester United’s kits. The club also said that the three rivers—the Irk, the Medlock, and the Irwell—are important to them because they are where Old Trafford meets the city.

United says that the lighter shades of blue that run through the collar tie fans and players to the club’s home colours even though they are playing in away colours.

When the strip came out on Thursday morning, fans went crazy over its new look, which included a stamped M that went all the way across the strip.

Someone else said, “Looks really wavy.”

Another person wrote, “Damn, they’re so cool.”

The Manchester United devil is on the back of the collar, and there are three stripes down each arm. The shirt was made by adidas.

It will cost a lot of money to buy the shirt from the club, though. The shirt costs £80 on the club website, and a real shirt costs £110.

Shorts that are real will cost £45, and socks will cost £20.

At the beginning of the month, the club unveiled their new home strip, which was inspired by the Busby Babes. Barry Keoghan, winner of a BAFTA award, will be in ads for the new kit.

The Red Devils want to get better after having the worst Premier League finish ever last season. This is their first full season under Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s guidance.

“We have the honour every season to resonate with fans through special nods to their club and culture,” said Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at adidas. “This season, for the Manchester United away kit, it’s the city itself.”

“We honour parts of the city and club’s history through details like the collar and a design that calls back to beloved design codes. These are finished off with high-end modern touches that make them stand out on the streets, in the stands and on the pitch.”

United has also asked fans to show off their new strips in public and tag the club in any social media posts they make.
