United is going to get ANOTHER centre back this summer after getting Leny Yoro for £60 million.
Leny Yoro moved to Manchester United from Lille this summer, but Erik ten Hag is still willing to add more defensive players because he is still in touch with Jarrad Branthwaite.

Manchester United paid £59 million for Lille defender Leny Yoro, who is 18 years old. However, Ten Hag said that another player might be added before the August 30 limit.

United still wants to sign Jarrad Branthwaite, but they have turned down Everton’s £70 million offer. At £42 million, Matthijs De Ligt of Bayern Munich is a more reasonable goal.

Ten Hag said, “I think we are busy [in that position], but we work all the time.” We have already signed two players, which is good, but if you’re Manchester United, you’re always on the lookout for better players when the chance arises. We still have time until August 30.

Man United had more than 60 injuries last season, mostly in the defence. Ten Hag says that the longer European schedule is expected to keep more players out because of the extra games.

Ten Hag said, “We already made our decisions about what to do about the injuries.” “We hired a new club doctor last year, but he didn’t start until late in the season. Now he can start from scratch and be in charge.”

“We also hired a new head physio, so things changed.” Changes were made to our medical and performance plans to get better, which is normal.

“In football, things change so quickly that you have to come up with new ideas all the time. If you want to be the best, you need the best in those areas as well.”

“There were a lot of reasons why people got hurt last season.” The schedule is so full of games, which puts a lot of stress on the players. We’re not the only team with a lot of problems either.
