After arriving at Manchester United on Monday, Ruben Amorim gathered his coaching staff and has already received some backlash from former players for his choices.

Even though Ruben Amorim has only been the manager of Manchester United for two days, he has already been very busy.

After his final match as Sporting Lisbon manager on Sunday night in Braga, Amorim took a private aircraft from Portugal and landed at Carrington on Monday afternoon. After serving as caretaker manager for four games, he informed former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy that he was no longer needed.

At United, the team that was so successful at Sporting, Amorim will instead work alongside assistants Carlos Fernandes, Adelio Candido, and Emanuel Ferro, custodian coach Jorge Vital, and sports scientist Paulo Barreira. They are now preparing for their November 24 match against Ipswich at Portman Road following the international break.

As the new period begins, there are numerous more things that need to be set up at Carrington and Old Trafford. These are the most recent club-related headlines from Mirror Football.

Ferdinand queries Amorim’s call
According to Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves, Amorim ought to have retained Van Nistelrooy as a member of his coaching team so that he could collaborate with the forwards and serve as a liaison with the fans.

Former United midfielder Hargreaves stated on Rio Ferdinand Presents that the Dutchman might have collaborated with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund: To succeed, they must take a lesson from one of the greatest. He can teach these guys the tiny things, but you don’t have to be the coach or the main man.

“We’ve been sitting here waiting for a manager to connect with the players,” Ferdinand said after acknowledging. We currently have one. Why will you be getting rid of him? The decision to fire Van Nistelrooy but retain Darren Fletcher, who will continue to work with the academy, has also irritated United supporters.

Three stars are urged to take action.
As Amorim joins United, Garnacho, Rashford, and Amad have been told they need to get better. The three wingers are the ones who need to step up and prove themselves to the new manager, according to former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit.

“I don’t think Manchester United’s players are good enough in some positions,” Petit said to Instant Casino. “I believe they need to acquire quality players and wingers starting in the midfield. I apologise, but I’m not really sure about Rashford, Amad, or Garnacho. He has a lot of work ahead of him.

Ten Hag and seven players had a falling out.
There was a lot of drama during Erik ten Hag’s two and a half-year tenure as manager, and Mirror Football has recorded seven separate arguments the Dutchman had with his players.

The most well-known included Cristiano Ronaldo, who, following a confrontation with Ten Hag, left for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo publicly criticised his manager in an interview with Piers Morgan, knowing that the club would discipline him.

Ten Hag accused Jadon Sancho of training at a low level, which led to their falling out. He was exiled to train alone after Sancho basically called him a liar in a social media post and then refused to apologise. Sancho is currently on loan at Chelsea after spending six months at Borussia Dortmund the previous season.

Other people who have crossed Ten Hag in recent years include Anthony Martial, David de Gea, and Harry Maguire. Rashford was also penalised for travelling to Belfast the night before an FA Cup match against Newport while intoxicated.
