Manchester United may be on the lookout for Ademola Lookman, with the Red Devils keeping a close eye on the Atalanta player, who is about to enter contract negotiations with his club.

United have recently been connected with a number of offensive players, including Ruben Amorim. With United now 13th in the Premier League, the new manager will be hoping for improved results in front of goal.

That’s especially true considering the Red Devils have been outscored by three-quarters of the Premier League this season.

Atalanta’s Lookman, who formerly played in the English Premier League with Leicester, Fulham, and Everton, has suddenly appeared on the radar.

According to Caught Offside, United may be on the lookout for him since he has shown to be a valuable asset since leaving England.

It is understood that they are keeping a tight eye on him as Atalanta negotiates a new deal.

A January deal is seen to be less likely than a summer one, when Lookman could fetch a fee of up to €70 million (£58 million/$73 million), which United are understood to consider a reasonable price.

According to the article, both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have previously expressed interest in Lookman.

Real Madrid seeks Vinicius successor.
According to recent sources, Real Madrid is about to receive a world record bid for Vinicius Junior.

Lookman connections arose around the same time, implying he is the ideal successor if the Brazilian superstar left Real.

And he would be significantly less than the rumored deal for Vinicius, leaving Real with almost £200 million in the bank after both transactions.

Lookman has not played for an elite club, with Atalanta being the finest team he has ever played for, but his form there implies he may join Real Madrid.

Manchester United round-up: Second Atalanta swoop on cards
United are also interested in Lookman’s Atalanta teammate, Ederson, who is highly valued by the club ahead of any prospective bid.

United are also thought to be competing with Real in another manner, having started negotiations about signing one of their midfielders, Eduardo Camavinga.

In terms of current United players, struggling striker Joshua Zirkzee is claimed to have been granted a fresh start by new boss Amorim following his terrible start with the club.

However, the boss is expected to extract the most out of Casemiro, who was reportedly exposed under Erik ten Hag’s system.
