Officially, Man United’s summer transfer target is in London to finalise a long-term contract. A five-year agreement has already been reached; a medical timetable has been set; Ten Hag’s initial signing has been verified.

Leny Yoro, who has strong ties to Manchester United and other elite teams on the continent, is the subject of yet another story.

The Red Devils have reportedly made the player the highest offer to persuade him to transfer to Old Trafford, according to a news we covered two days ago via Marca.

More recently, another Spanish source disclosed that Man Utd has submitted an offer for Yoro’s transfer that is extremely similar to the conditions Lille has approved.

The Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain and the Old Trafford team have reportedly already made offers for the teenage central defender, according to AS.

According to reports, Man Utd is “very serious” about the deal and has even put in a bid that is “very close” to the French club’s asking price of 60 million euros.

Real Madrid is leading the race and is keen to sign the 18-year-old, but they do not intend to “go all out” for a youngster who will be available for free in a little over a year.

Consequently, the champions of Spain and Europe have agreed that they will not sign Yoro for a fee exceeding 40 million euros.

The Los Blancos urge Yoro to be patient and turn down approaches from other suitors because they are aware that Lille can receive larger sums from overseas.

Given the circumstances, the Les Dogues might be compelled to settle for a lesser price because they wouldn’t want to lose their valuable asset for nothing.

Real Madrid is difficult to beat both on the pitch and in the transfer market, as history has demonstrated. Can Manchester United prevail in the competition to sign Leny Yoro? Time will tell.
