Shock Premier League manager ‘told’ he’ll be SACKED if he doesn’t win his next two games

A manager in the Premier League has been ‘told’ that he will be fired if he does not make it through his next two matches without a victory.

Since the beginning of the current season, there have been a total of six managers who have been relieved of their responsibilities. These managers include Erik ten Hag, Steve Cooper, Gary O’Neil, Russell Martin, Julen Lopetegui, and Sean Dyche.

According to Paul Merson, a former star player for Arsenal, there is a significant possibility that another player will be added to the most recent list.

Enzo Maresca, the manager of Chelsea, has suffered three losses in their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday night, according to the Sky Sports pundit, who believes that additional pressure is being applied to him.

The Blues appeared to be in the running for the championship at one point during the season, despite the fact that their manager dismissed any talk of winning the title. It appeared as though the new Chelsea project was in order.

However, due to injuries sustained by key players, Chelsea’s performance has significantly deteriorated over the past few weeks. As a result, they are currently in seventh place, but they are only two points ahead of Brighton, who is in ninth place, and they are one point behind Manchester City, who is in fourth place.

Two games are played by Merson for Maresca.
The two-time European champions will be looking to get back on track with favourable-looking fixtures against relegation-threatened sides Southampton and Leicester. However, Merson believes that it could be the end for Maresca if Chelsea does not gain the maximum number of points.

“If they don’t win their next two games, the manager won’t be there,” Merson wrote in his column for Sky Sports. “If they don’t win, nobody will be there.”

Because they are competing against Southampton and Leicester, two of the worst teams that have competed in the Premier League for I don’t know how long, they are in a difficult situation. This means that he will have a good chance of keeping his job if they do not win those two games.

“It is imperative that Chelsea become a member of the Champions League. It is necessary for them to have the Champions League in order to retain players such as Cole Palmer, who will want to participate in that competition.

“If they don’t finish in the top five, I can’t even begin to imagine what will happen to them. They will have to do just that.” To be honest, I have no idea what the plan is. Although they have signed seven-year contracts, these players are not showing any signs of improvement. How many of them have achieved a significant level of success?

Under the leadership of Todd Boehly and Clearlake, Chelsea has never been afraid to fire a manager if the results are not meeting expectations. Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, and Graham Potter have all been fired, and Mauricio Pochettino has previously left the club by mutual agreement.

The previous season, Chelsea finished in sixth place, which allowed them to qualify for the Europa Conference League. They have been drawn to play Copenhagen in the round of sixteen of the competition.
