Shocking News: Liverpool twist in Manchester City 115 charges case

This season, Liverpool is ahead of Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title, but the two teams aren’t just fighting on the pitch. In the Premier League’s legal maze, the two parties are also steadfastly opposing one another.

As the governing body works to substantiate their 115 claims against the defending champions, the Premier League and Manchester City are engaged in a legal battle before an impartial panel.

A ruling is not anticipated until the end of the season, and the case is being heard behind closed doors. If found guilty, Manchester City may be threatened with Premier League relegation.

The legal procedures have taken a turn, nevertheless, as four Premier League teams have sent notice reserving the right to sue Manchester City for damages in the event that they are found to have violated the Premier League’s financial regulations.

Liverpool acted within the allotted six years to inform their opponents of their intentions, joining Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a former Premier League owner, the teams have every right to deliver those notices.
Simon Jordan, the former owner of Crystal Palace, has maintained that the four Premier League clubs were justified in pursuing the legal dispute against Manchester City.

He believes that the four teams would be justified in suing Manchester City for monetary damages if the Premier League winners were proved guilty.

Jordan emphasised that if another team had broken financial regulations, Manchester City would have taken similar action, therefore supporters shouldn’t have any grounds for complaint.

Jordan retorted on talkSPORT that “they’re just putting their position; they have to reserve the right to do it.”

“By doing this, they are not implying that they are denouncing City as guilty or denying their innocence; they have their own opinions and are free to express them.

Which team did Liverpool sell these players to?

“These clubs will sue Man City if they are found guilty of these charges. Of course. The current regulations permit and assist it, and I think they will take it up.

“I can tell you if the boot was on the other foot, Man City would be doing it,” the former Crystal Palace manager reiterated. “That doesn’t mean Man City are going to be found guilty and doesn’t mean there should be mean-spirited reaction from Man City fans.”

“There must be repercussions if Man City violates the rules that were in place at the time and produces results that have negatively impacted other people’s financial situation. Although it’s not ideal or what you desire, it’s not shocking.
