Manchester United is actively seeking to acquire further new players, but it seems that one promising young star has made the decision to pursue a future elsewhere, away from Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag is currently engaged in the preparations for his third Premier League campaign as the manager of Manchester United.

The Dutchman has witnessed Manchester United make two crucial acquisitions this summer, enhancing his team’s roster not only for the present but also for the long term.

Striker Joshua Zirkzee was the first player to come during the summer, joining from Bologna. He was followed by wonderkid Lenny Yoro, who signed from Lille.

Transfers for Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and Manuel Ugarte are still being negotiated, as Manchester United continues to pursue significant signings.

United are expected to get official notification of a departure following a contract dispute in the past few weeks.

Shola Shoretire is poised for an unexpected transfer.
The list of players that United decided to keep was revealed in early June, and it was not unexpected that certain players would be leaving.

Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial were released, while Brandon Williams was let go due to his stagnant growth.

However, the future of Shola Shoretire remained uncertain, leaving one scenario unanswered.

United confirmed that negotiations with Shoretire were still in progress as he neared the end of his contract.

United maintained the belief that Shoretire would benefit more from remaining at Old Trafford and honing his skills, considering his long-standing association with the club since the age of nine.

Nevertheless, subsequent reports in June indicated that Shoretire was anticipated to go and pursue a fresh chance elsewhere.

Shoretire is now listed on United’s website as a member of the first team squad, however he is now prepared to leave the club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Shoretire is currently expected to make an unexpected transfer to Greece, namely to PAOK.

Romano asserts that clubs in England, Spain, the United States, and Saudi Arabia expressed their interest in acquiring Shoretire.

Instead, the individual who is 20 years old has made the decision to go to Greece. Currently, there is a verbal agreement in effect.

Shoretire will soon journey to Greece to conclude his agreement in the upcoming days, officially concluding his tenure at United.
