The manager of Inter Miami talks about his favorite thing about Lionel Messi’s partnership with Luis Suarez.

Tata Martino has revealed his recent favorite thing about Lionel Messi playing for Inter Miami with Luis Suarez.

After Suarez moved to Florida following his release from Gremio, the two were reunited at the beginning of the season. The veteran attacker is having a great season in Major League Soccer, with the Inter Miami no. 9 scoring 12 goals and dishing out seven assists across all competitions.

With Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets also signed with Inter Miami, Messi and Suarez quickly rediscovered the connection that once made them great together at FC Barcelona, as Messi thrived in the attack alongside Suarez.

Martino has also mentioned what he has enjoyed witnessing this season between Messi and Suarez.

Already “influential” to Inter Miami’s output are Messi and Suarez.
According to Martino, who was speaking to the Miami Herald, Messi and Suarez are already getting back up to speed when it comes to playing together. On Saturday against the New York Red Bulls, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner assisted his Uruguayan teammate three times.

While Messi has taken center stage this year, Suarez has had a significant impact at Inter Miami. The striker has blended in well with his former Barcelona teammate in their new surroundings in Florida.

Even though Messi and Suarez have only been back together for a few months, their partnership has clearly had an impact on Inter Miami, according to Martino. After all, they appear to be the most lethal team in MLS history.

“Their partnership was like old times in the second half,” stated Martino. They have a lot of influence in the game when they find each other and their teammates support them.

In the MLS, Messi and Suarez already appear unstoppable.
Together with Neymar, Messi and Suarez were arguably the best offensive front line players in soccer history, winning everything at Barcelona under Luis Enrique in Catalonia.

Furthermore, Messi and Suarez appear to be unstoppable in the Major League Soccer (MLS), as they effortlessly breach defenses and inflict maximum damage with the least amount of effort.

It’s true that Messi and Suarez have everything it takes to lead Inter Miami to the top of the MLS, and if they can stay healthy this season, they might even win more trophies for the Florida team.
