In preparation for their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, Arsenal and Mikel Arteta will be hoping that five of their players will be able to show up.
During the international break that is now taking place in November, a number of stars have remained in London Colney in order to heal from both newly developed and chronic muscle disorders.

Benjamin White, who underwent a minor operation earlier this week, is one of the players who has played through discomfort. Other players who have done so include Declan Rice and Ben White. Because of the operation, White has already missed four weeks of activity this season, and it appears that he will continue to miss additional games while he heals from the procedure.

Rice, on the other hand, had an injury when playing against Newcastle at the beginning of November, which caused him to miss the Champions League match against Inter. In spite of the fact that the midfielder was allowed to participate in the crucial match away at Chelsea, he was taken out of the game after 71 minutes and subsequently removed himself from England duty.

Both in terms of going off hurt at Stamford Bridge and departing early from St. George’s Park, Bukayo Saka followed suit, with Arteta’s initial update being anything but optimistic. According to what he stated during a press conference, “It does not look good because for two players of that importance to tell you that they cannot continue in the game, obviously it is not good news.”

It has been reported by The Mail that the Gunners are optimistic about the possibility of both Rice and Saka being fit for the match against Forest. However, it is important to note that Saka is farther ahead in his rehabilitation than Rice, in light of the fact that it has been speculated that Rice may have fractured his foot.

In addition to these worries, Arteta will be hoping that Martin Odegaard does not have any setbacks after he has recently returned from an extended layoff due to an ankle injury. During the two-week domestic break, the Gunners skipper has stayed in north London, despite the fact that he first travelled to Norway.

Riccardo Calafiori is another player who has been forced to sit out due to a knee injury. It is anticipated that he will be able to play against Forest the following Saturday. Takehiro Tomiyasu has also been hampered by injuries this season, and he has only played five minutes during the whole season. However, it is anticipated that he will be able to return to domestic football when it resumes operations.

Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber; Partey, Merino, Rice; Saka, Havertz, and Martinelli are the players that are expected to be in Arsenal’s starting lineup against Nottingham Forest.
