In recent days, Arsenal has witnessed a couple of changes to their list of England youth call-ups: one player has withdrawn and another has been called up.

Initially, England only called up two players to Arsenal for the international break, but since then, they have added another, as Ethan Nwaneri is listed as a member of Greg Lincoln’s u17 squad.

This week, the England u17s are participating in Euro elite-round qualifiers in an attempt to secure a spot at the championship tournament in Cyprus in May.

Nwaneri will play for a team that faces France, Hungary, and Northern Ireland. Qualifying for the summer tournament will depend on finishing in the top two of the group.

However, as one young gunner was called up, another had to withdraw from international service due to an injury.

Amario Cozier-Duberry was called up to the England U19 team, but his withdrawal due to injury has since been confirmed by the England Football website.

The Arsenal under-21 team will hopefully have Cozier-Duberry back by April 8th when they play Stoke City.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy was the only other young player from Arsenal to be called up for the England u21 team. Norton-Cuffy is presently a Millwall loanee.

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s complete lack of involvement is unexpected, and Reuell Walters is just another blunder. Maybe the decision was made because neither has been playing football very regularly lately.

You would expect them to be involved if they were playing on a regular basis.
