Our worst fears have been confirmed by Manchester United, as Leny Yoro is now expected to be out for a number of months.

When Leny Yoro was signed from Lille in a move that came as a complete surprise, when it appeared for all the world as though he was going to Real Madrid, all of us Manchester United fans were really excited. When we witnessed his incredible debut versus Rangers, our excitement level skyrocketed a whole new level.

Unfortuitously, Yoro would suffer an injury while playing against Arsenal. At once, it appeared as though the defender was experiencing a great deal of anguish, and we were all dreading the worst possible outcome.

United has verified that Yoro has undergone successful surgery, putting an end to those anxieties that had been plaguing individuals.

A really devastating blow has been dealt to the Old Trafford side, as the brilliant teenager is now expected to be sidelined for the next three months. There is a possibility that Yoro will not return to the field of play until at least November. Sadly, his first game with the Reds will have to be postponed…

It is just a terrible piece of news. Yoro was brought in to help improve the back line, which had previously exhibited a great deal of inconsistency over the previous season. When it comes to becoming the ideal companion for Lisandro Martinez, the Frenchman possesses all of the attributes that are necessary, despite his youthful age.

It is unfortunate that we will not be able to witness the combination until the winter season.

In the event that United does decide to bring in a player such as Matthijs de Ligt before the transfer window ends in around one month, it indicates that players such as Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire will be playing on a permanent basis.

At this point, United will simply have to learn to function without Yoro. Without the burden of playing regular games for the most successful club in the country, the player might begin to feel more at ease in his new environment, which is a positive aspect of the situation.

We can only hope that he is maintaining a positive attitude and that morale is high during this challenging time.

Have a speedy recovery, Leny!
