Ballon d’Or Feminin 2025 Power Rankings

Published

on

It seems fitting to rank the top women’s players in the world now that Euro 2025 is over and England defeated Spain in the final to win the trophy for the second consecutive year. After all, the 2024–2025 European season’s major events are now concluded, and on September 22, the winner of the Ballon d’Or Feminin will be revealed.

The competition will be held in Paris, and although there is a lot of discussion about who will win the men’s prize—Ousmane Dembele and Lamine Yamal are among the contenders—there is perhaps more conjecture about who will win the women’s prize this year.

However, a number of outstanding players have made their presence known, and the top candidates have now been ranked.

Factors that rank
Achievements for their national teams, such as at Euro 2025
Club teams’ achievements (like as in the Champions League)

11.

10Lucy Bronze

Chelsea and England

Lucy Bronze would win the Ballon d’Or Feminin with little to no opposition if it were given out based only on her bravery. How many players, after all, have participated in an entire tournament while suffering from a shattered tibia?

The right-back gave it her all for her nation as they crossed the finish line at Euro 2024 in spite of the injury and another knock she received in the final. She had a mediocre season in 2024–2025 if you include her WSL, FA Cup, and League Cup victories with Chelsea.

9Caroline Graham Hansen

Barcelona and Norway

Caroline Graham Hansen’s quality is undeniable as she was selected for the 2024 Best FIFA Women’s XI. Since she finished second last year, she has actually been unfortunate not to win the Ballon d’Or before, but after her stellar season, she at least deserves to be mentioned.

She has consistently demonstrated her talent, winning three domestic trophies with Barcelona and contributing 14 assists and 21 goals across all competitions. Graham Hansen was likely Norway’s greatest player at Euro 2025 as well, but she isn’t the top contender at the moment because she doesn’t have the huge trophies to support her.

8Ewa Pajor

Barcelona and Poland

Ewa Pajor, another Barcelona player, was instrumental in the team’s victories in the league, Copa de la Reina, and Spanish Supercup. In fact, she finished the 2024–05 season with a staggering 52 goals in all competitions after scoring an incredible 25 goals and dishing out 10 assists in 28 Liga F games.

Pajor also made an impression for Poland in her first major tournament appearance, scoring in a 3-2 victory over Denmark at Euro 2025. The 28-year-old has accomplished enough to garner a good rating here, with an abundance of goals and awards.

7Patri Guijarro

Barcelona and Spain

Patri Guijarro is a more defensive-minded midfielder, so he will never be able to steal the show. Nevertheless, she would have been motivated by fellow Spaniard Rodri’s 2024 Ballon d’Or victory, and she undoubtedly had an outstanding campaign that merited at least mention for this year’s prize.

She thought that her experience at the top level was reflected in the fact that Guijarro was the only Spanish player to score in the shootout as Spain fell to England 3-1 on penalties. However, it’s doubtful that she has done enough to win over enough Ballon d’Or Feminin voters this time around if she doesn’t win the Euros or the Champions League.

6Leah Williamson

Arsenal and England
