BREAKING: Garnacho bids farewell to Manchester United supporters as he prepares to leave Old Trafford. Today, the agreement with the UCL club, established last week, is now finalised. Goodbye Celestial youth

Antonio Conte has expressed interest in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

Paris Saint-Germain is optimistic about finalising a transaction for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this week after achieving a preliminary agreement with Napoli, which may impact Manchester United player Alejandro Garnacho.

Kvaratskhelia, 23, is among the most skilled athletes in Serie A. Last summer, he informed PSG of his desire to join, but Napoli was not amenable to a sale at that time.

The position of the Italian club has changed following Kvaratskhelia’s refusal to accept a contract extension.

PSG has now consented to a €70 million plus bonuses arrangement, which is below Napoli’s initial €80 million asking price. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG, has participated in the negotiations, while club advisor Luis Campos maintains a robust rapport with the winger’s agency and Jorge Mendes, who is also engaged in the transaction.

Notwithstanding certain associations with Liverpool and Chelsea, PSG remains unmatched. The French champions are the sole team to have submitted a proposal to Napoli, and only an unexpected late development would delay Kvaratskhelia’s transfer to Paris. The Georgian international has finalised a contract agreement extending until the summer of 2029.

Napoli is actively considering prospective substitutes for Kvaratskhelia, with Garnacho being included on their shortlist.

Manchester United want over €70 million for Garnacho.
TEAMtalk reports that Napoli manager Antonio Conte holds a strong admiration for Garnacho, and the Italian club will pursue a new winger if Kvaratskhelia departs, as anticipated.

Reports indicate that Napoli is monitoring Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, who is also of interest to Chelsea. However, securing his transfer may prove challenging if Donyell Malen departs Dortmund for Aston Villa, a move that seems imminent following the player’s authorisation to undergo a medical examination.

Garnacho has been less significant under new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim and was excluded from the squad early in his term; however, he has appeared more frequently and performed admirably in the Red Devils’ recent victory over Arsenal in the FA Cup.

If Napoli decides to pursue Garnacho, Conte will be the primary catalyst for the endeavour.

Italian reports said that Manchester United seeks approximately €50 million (£42.1 million / £51.3 million) for Garnacho; nevertheless, it is understood that the club’s actual valuation exceeds €70 million, necessitating that Napoli use a substantial portion of their Kvaratskhelia fee to pursue the acquisition.

The 20-year-old Argentinian international is seen by officials at Old Trafford as possessing significant potential. Garnacho is contracted until 2028, so safeguarding his worth.

Despite a prospective sale being recorded as ‘pure profit’ on the financial statements due to his status as an academy graduate, Manchester United is not presently contemplating his exit this month, and only an extraordinary offer would alter that decision.
