BREAKING: Man Utd facing Marcus Rashford transfer calamity after alternative Man City deal has be finally finalised’ and preferred move stalls
Reports indicate that Marcus Rashford may remain at Manchester United, as one potential buyer has engaged in ‘advanced conversations’ with another target, while a different interested club has intensified its pursuit of another Premier League winger.
Rashford, 27, has received permission to depart from Manchester United this month, and the winger has acknowledged his willingness to embrace a new challenge. A multitude of prominent clubs have expressed their interest, with a loan agreement seeming the most probable result should Rashford leave.
Manchester United favours a permanent resolution, whether through a complete sale or a loan with a mandatory purchase clause. The club will consider a dry loan or a loan with a purchase option if more advantageous terms are not proposed.
Juventus, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona have all engaged in direct discussions with Rashford’s representatives.
Several Premier League clubs are believed to have considered a transfer, although Sir Jim Ratcliffe has allegedly prohibited a Rashford departure to a domestic competitor. Given Rashford’s reluctance to go to Saudi Arabia, a transfer to continental Europe appears to be the most viable option.
Nonetheless, the pool of potential suitors appears to be swiftly diminishing due to assertions that Rashford is exclusively interested in Barcelona.
Barcelona cannot advance with a transfer until they first offload one of their players, leaving Rashford’s desired move in a state of uncertainty.
Furthermore, Juventus are poised to finalise the loan acquisition of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG. According to a recent report from Sky Germany, AC Milan is also advancing with an alternative agreement.
Reporter Florian Plettenberg announced on X that “intensive negotiations are in progress between AC Milan and Kyle Walker for a transfer during this window.”
A comprehensive verbal agreement is nearing finalisation. Walker is keen to join Milan without delay. Negotiations are under underway over a contract that will extend at least until 2027.
Sam Lee, their Manchester City specialist, stated: “An underlying aspect of this situation is that, should a [Walker] transfer to Milan occur, it would terminate their interest in Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, as they possess only one remaining position in their squad for a UK player.”
A potential solution may involve Milan transferring England international Fikayo Tomori, who is a target for Juventus.
However, if Tomori remains and Walker arrives, Rashford would also be unable to join Milan.
In further concerning developments for Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, another reported suitor for Rashford, is redirecting its interest towards Brentford’s Kevin Schade.
Rudy Galetti, TEAMtalk’s transfer insider, confirmed Brentford’s interest in the German international on January 16.
Fabrizio Romano revealed on January 17 that Borussia Dortmund has a legitimate interest in Kevin Schade, since preliminary discussions with new agents have already occurred.
As Juventus pursues Kolo Muani, Milan targets Walker, and Dortmund want Schade, Manchester United may soon find that Barcelona is the only feasible option for Rashford’s departure.
The Spanish club is Rashford’s preferred team, and Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is believed to have sanctioned a loan agreement.
Before a transfer to commence, Barcelona must release a player, and the unexpected involvement of Tottenham may ultimately benefit Manchester United in their pursuit of Ansu Fati.
Recent updates on Manchester United – Alejandro Garnacho…
Chelsea has expressed interest in acquiring Alejandro Garnacho, whom Manchester United is willing to sell for a bid of £60 million.
According to The Mirror, United has already declined a £40 million offer from Napoli for the 20-year-old. According to David Ornstein, Chelsea has now initiated a ‘inquiry.’
TEAMtalk reports that Garnacho would be amenable to joining Chelsea, perceiving the club as a transitional phase in his career.
Sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk that Garnacho’s primary objective is to play for Real Madrid.
If playing for Chelsea instead of sitting on the bench at Old Trafford brings him closer to achieving his aspiration, Garnacho would willingly agree to a transfer to Stamford Bridge.
