Rasmus Hojlund, a striker for Manchester United, had acne treatment estimated to be worth up to £1,400. The Danish international was featured in a social media video by a clinic.

Having had a £1,400 laser acne treatment, Rasmus Hojlund seemed pleased with the outcome.

In a video uploaded by ‘Dr Rosh,’ a self-described ‘cosmetic doctor’ on social media, the Danish striker is seen receiving Picosure Pro laser treatment. The procedure’s goal of lessening scars and redness on the footballer’s face is described in a voiceover.

The video includes a before-and-after picture and an explanation of how stem cells are used in the treatment. Hojlund received the therapy from Cheshire-based Klnik, and it is estimated that the entire procedure cost him more than £1,000.

Although the precise timing of the treatments is unknown, Dr. Rosh speaks of a change that occurred “from January to now.” The main player for Manchester United, Hojlund, is now rehabilitating from a preseason injury that will keep him out of action until the start of the 2024–25 season.

In the video voiceover, Dr. Rosh says, “He’s been troubled with a bit of acne with some scarring, so we’re helping harmonise that texture, reduce the scarring, and reduce the redness.” “To give him the best outcome possible, we used the Picosure Pro Laser here to deliver channels, break down the skin, and then exosomes to help with that inflammation and healing.”

Hojlund looks positively surprised by the outcome in the video. “I’m actually quite surprised because during the summer heat, it blew up the last two summers I’ve had,” he says.

“The Instagram video’s results speak for themselves,” one commenter wrote. When Hojlund himself responded with an emoji of raised hands, Dr. Rosh said, “My bro.”

Although United took longer to establish themselves in the league, Hojlund was the team’s best scorer in the Champions League the previous season, despite their elimination in the group stages. Having scored 16 goals in all competitions, including 10 in the league, he concluded the season as his team’s top scorer.

After Antony Martial forfeited his new number, he will wear number nine for the upcoming season. Despite this, he isn’t anticipated to play again until September due to a hamstring injury he sustained against Arsenal during the preseason.

“I overheard someone ask how you handle this game tomorrow. In addition, with several injury concerns going into the Community Shield, United manager Erik ten Hag told reporters, “We are not in a position where we can risk players and then lose them for a long period.”

“You run a risk when you have this approach because top football is going to the edge, going over the edge and then players get injured,” Joshua Zirkzee said in response to a question regarding his match sharpness. That is an issue for us and something that cannot be avoided, but I have seen the list for every Premier League team that we have seen. We do not lead the country in injuries.”
