Wolves has emerged as a possibility for Aaron Ramsdale, who is anticipated to leave Arsenal this summer in quest of consistent first-team action. Dan Bentley might be a makeweight in the deal.

This summer, Wolves and Arsenal might as well switch goalkeepers, Aaron Ramsdale and Dan Bentley.

After losing his starting position to David Raya, Ramsdale is poised to depart Arsenal this summer. The England international has only started one Premier League game since December. Additionally, Wolves have surfaced as a possible landing spot for the 26-year-old.

TalkSPORT reports that Wolves are considering their alternatives because current No. 1 Jose Sa is rumoured to be considering a move elsewhere. According to the report, Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone, the custodian for Crystal Palace, are being considered as possible alternatives.

Additionally, Arsenal has made multiple attempts to sign Bentley this summer; the Gunners are eager to get a domestic goalie to support Raya. Bentley might therefore be used by Wolves in a player-plus-cash agreement for Ramsdale.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, has acknowledged that Ramsdale might decide to remain at the Emirates. “There is a big reality that Aaron will be here because he is our player and has a contract,” Arteta stated in April.

Only two new players have joined Arsenal this summer: Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and the permanent transfer of Raya. In contrast, Wolves has signed Tommy Doyle, Rodrigo Gomes, Pedro Lima, and Jorgen Strand Larsen on loan.
