BREAKING News: Chelsea banish three players from training in bid to force transfers

Chelsea has prohibited Trevoh Chalobah from using the team’s facilities and from training with them.
Additionally, Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku were assigned to perform with Blues youth groups.
Conor Gallagher faced threats before to finalising his transfer to Atletico Madrid.

As the club looks to sell all three players this summer, Chelsea has barred Trevoh Chalobah from first-team training and stopped him from utilising any of their facilities with Romelu Lukaku and Armando Broja.

Despite having a fantastic finish to the 2023–24 season, defender Chalobah was left out of the Blues preseason roster for their US tour.

The 25-year-old was not brought along because of the existence of other center-backs, such as Tosin Adarabioyo, Axel Disasi, and Wesley Fofana, according to new head coach Enzo Maresca. In an overloaded roster, players like Benoit Badiashile and Levi Colwill are also choices.

Chalobah is reportedly working with Chelsea’s development team and isn’t allowed to use the first team equipment until he agrees to a transfer out of the club, according to The Telegraph.

The decision was intended to keep Broja and Lukaku focused on their futures away from Stamford Bridge by having the defender practice with the club’s youth instead of giving them a “false impression of their prospects” by being present with the first squad.

When Conor Gallagher was considering a move to Atletico Madrid, the west London team had threatened to treat him similarly. The England international was photographed at the stadium of the Spanish team, and it now appears that the deal will go.

It’s reported that Chalobah is of interest to both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. Following recent negotiations, Palace may lose Marc Guehi to Newcastle United, although the Villans have had to deal with Fulham’s interest in Diego Carlos and may chase the Chelsea defender as a potential replacement.

Chalobah battled his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting eleven for 13 Premier League games last season, including 10 starts. He helped his team gain late momentum to finish sixth.
