Breaking News: Marquinhos identifies crucial errors in PSG’s setback against Arsenal

Arsenal defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Tuesday night at Emirates Stadium. After giving up two goals in the first half, the Paris team found it difficult to score and battled to do so the entire game.

Gianluigi Donnarumma committed two errors that gave the home team goals. The first goal was scored when the Italian goalie deviated from his line to intercept a cross that didn’t appear to be very dangerous.

Sadly, this choice backfired because Kai Havertz was able to score with a header after taking a chance to go for the ball and it didn’t pay off. He mishandled Bukayo Saka’s free-kick attempt on the second goal.

It’s possible that Arsenal’s concentration of bodies close to Donnarumma caused enough traffic to obstruct his view of the ball. The 24-year-old did, however, make an attempt to swipe the ball, but he was utterly unsuccessful as it went into the net.

Marquinhos discussed what went wrong for the Ligue 1 team with Canal+ after the defeat.

Marquinhos told the French publication, “We need to be more aggressive and find the back of the net. We had plenty of possession, but we didn’t move enough into the open spaces.” “We had the ball for most of the second half, but we didn’t create many opportunities. We have to perform better than that in the Champions League.

Our squad enjoys playing with the ball and keeping possession. We attempt to lure the opposition in order to open up space and take advantage of it, but we were unable to do so today. Each squad has its advantages and disadvantages, and we suffered as a result of our goal conceded.

In their match against OGC Nice on Sunday, PSG will need to recover from this setback before the newest FIFA international break takes place.
