Longtime helper Jesus Perez will accompany the Chelsea manager.

As Frank Lampard and Eden Hazard return to Stamford Bridge this summer, Mauricio Pochettino will take charge at Soccer Aid once more.

June 9 is the date of the charity match, which since 2006 has raised over £90 million for UNICEF. For the second consecutive year, Pochettino will be in charge of the World XI team.

The Chelsea manager and his assistant Jesus Perez will be in familiar surroundings in the summer as the game is being played in west London, where he was last seen in the dugout at Old Trafford.

It has been announced that Lampard, along with Robbie Williams and Harry Redknapp, will manage the England team when they return to Stamford Bridge.

The 45-year-old has managed Chelsea twice before, the most recent being at the end of the previous campaign when he was named caretaker manager after Graham Potter left.

Following the announcement of his official Soccer Aid involvement, Lampard stated, “Playing in front of a sold-out crowd at Stamford Bridge is special – for any player, on any occasion.”

“I can’t wait to do that again, with Soccer Aid for UNICEF this time.”

Both Lampard and Hazard, who will be playing at Stamford Bridge for the first time since leaving Chelsea to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, can look forward to a warm welcome.

During his seven years with the Blues, Hazard won two Premier League titles and twice lifted the Europa League trophy. He then completed an £89 million move to Real Madrid.

Hazard’s contract was terminated a year early, marking the end of his injury-plagued time in Spain, proving to be an unsuccessful transfer. In October of last year, the 33-year-old declared his retirement from professional football.

“I always loved playing at Stamford Bridge. There, we shared a ton of trophies that we won. Seven incredible years of football are some of my favorite memories. They are missed.

Pochettino’s World XI team will include players like Tommy Fury, Roberto Carlos, and Usain Bolt in addition to Hazard.

Jack Wilshere, Sir Mo Farah, Jill Scott, and Stuart Broad will all play for England, who haven’t won this game since 2018. More players will be confirmed in the upcoming weeks.
