Manchester United was humiliated by the Cherries at home after giving up three goals, and Noussair Mazraoui received special condemnation for his part in the humiliation.

Noussair Mazraoui was called “stupid” by Michael Owen for giving up a penalty during Manchester United’s loss against Bournemouth.

The Red Devils lost to the Cherries 3-0 for the second straight season, humiliating them on their home field. After giving up another set piece goal, the home team was behind 1-0 at halftime, but they continued to play.

However, when Bournemouth was given a penalty on the hour mark, they gave them a fantastic chance to grab the lead. Instead of merely guiding his opponent to the sidelines, Mazraoui scythed down Justin Kluivert by sliding in.

Owen attacked the squad’s replacement center-half, saying United is “not a good team.” This handed United an even greater mountain to climb, and they quickly gave up a third.

“You’re being kind,” Owen said on Premier League Productions in response to a question about Mazroaui’s “rash” challenge. A bit hasty? More like a little dumb. Why are you doing this? He jumps in when he sees that two players are waiting for him and that he won’t score from there.

“Just keep moving and shoo him away. It’s just a really bad choice. The unfortunate thing about Manchester United right now is that you never really think they’ll win when they fall behind 1-0.

“They’re not a strong group. In order to make sure that the players who are not performing don’t put on the shirt again, Ruben Amorim needs to be watching that game. He must be that vicious and ruthless.

Noussair Mazraoui presented Bournemouth with the chance to double their lead

After recent defeats to Nottingham Forest and Arsenal, United’s loss was their third in four Premier League games. For the first time since 1989, they will also be seated on the lower part of the table on Christmas Day.

After their most recent defeat, Amorim did little to sugarcoat the victory and is fully aware of the challenge that awaits him in Manchester, where jeers are resounding all over Old Trafford.

“It’s so much easier to pass on an idea when you’re winning, scoring, and not giving up,” he remarked. However, being here is also a huge privilege, therefore we must go on. We must keep going and have strong beliefs, even during difficult times, because nothing good or bad lasts forever. We’ll attempt to win the upcoming game.
