Breaking News: Ruben Amorim makes another concerning private admission about Man Utd struggles

Since taking over as manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim has only won two games, and his team is currently on a two-game losing streak as the 39-year-old tries to salvage their season.

As he tries to save the team’s season, Ruben Amorim feels his role at Manchester United is more significant than he initially thought.

During the November international break, Amorim joined the Red Devils in place of Erik ten Hag, who was fired. However, since his arrival, he has only managed two victories, and just one of those has been in the Premier League.

With his team currently on a two-game losing streak, the 39-year-old would not have hoped for this start. They have the opportunity to recover on Thursday when they go to Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.

However, it doesn’t seem like Amorim will be convinced that all of their issues have been resolved, even if they defeat the Czech minnows. Rather, the Portuguese manager is already reevaluating how long it will take to get United back to their prior level of success.

ESPN claims that Omar Berrada, the CEO of United, did not attempt to downplay the magnitude of Amorim’s assignment. However, it is said that the new manager already thinks the position will be “more complicated” than he initially anticipated.

With a derby against Manchester City on Sunday, Amorim’s life is unlikely to get much easier. Next Wednesday, they go to Tottenham to play in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.

In September, Spurs defeated United 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League. After his team’s 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Amorim acknowledged that they still have a lot of work to do.

“We were aware that the travel would be lengthy. However, you can sense that this is a huge club, so we want to win. Everyone finds it quite difficult when you lose a single game, and I can get that. After the first goal, I could feel it in the stadium,” Amorim remarked.

“We are aware of the situation, but we must continue acting in the same manner. I have the same words now that I did after Everton. Keep your attention on the performance.

“We need to keep doing things in training and work on many areas of the game. At Sporting at the beginning, I experienced this and worse. For me, it feels the same [as it did then]. The world, on the other hand, is entirely different.

“Manchester United is quite well-known in Portugal, but sports are well-known there. However, I experience the same emotion. This is what happened to me at Sporting. This occurred at many clubs, if you have any football experience.

“This will change, therefore we must keep doing the same things and strengthening the team. We require time and to keep working in the same manner each day.”
