Breaking News: Sky Sports Confirm this morning that Celtic FC will sign a £5 million player out of nowhere.

Celtic drew 0-0 with Kairat Almaty in the first leg of their Champions League qualification match at Parkhead. In the aftermath of the game, many fingers were pointed at the club’s lack of activity in the transfer window. Their chances of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition are currently dangling by a thread, and the Kazakh team must be considered favourites to advance from this position.

Of course, Celtic had known for a long time that they would participate in this qualifying. However, they did not do enough. This feels like a movie we’ve seen many times before, with a terrible ending. We can only hope that Brendan Rodgers can pull a rabbit out of his magic hat in the second leg.

The club appears to be attempting to push for signings as well. But it might be too late. Yesterday, it was revealed that Michel-Ange Balikwisha had reached an agreement in principle, but there are still obstacles to overcome.

And now it appears like they are planning another move. One that had gone silent for a long but appears to be back online again.

Sky Sports confirms Celtic are pushing to sign a £5 million player out of nowhere.

According to Anthony Joseph, Celtic are stepping up their pursuit of Jakob Breum of the Go Ahead Eagles. Fresh talks for the Denmark U21 international began today, with the Dutch club seeking at least £5 million.

Celtic are said to have made several offers in the past to recruit Breum. However, they came well short of the transfer valuation that the Go Ahead Eagles had in mind.

It remains to be seen whether Celtic can get something done this time around. It’s now or never for the Hoops.
