When the schedule was revealed, no one could have anticipated how significant the Sturm Graz game would end up becoming. First off, Celtic has lost their Europa League opener thus far this season. They have no intention of continuing that losing streak. More significant, though, is that this team must recover from the loss to Dundee FC over the weekend.

That may have been the most disappointing outcome the team has ever experienced under Brendan Rodgers’ leadership, to be completely honest. Furthermore, many supporters appear to have lost faith in the manager as a result of the incident.

Many would be happy to see him leave when his contract expires. Some even think that he should be shown the exit door as soon as possible because things cannot go on like this season.

Let’s see what Rodgers has in store. The Europa League match versus Sturm Graz must be the main focus for the time being. However, Celtic has some bad news going into that match as well, and the team doesn’t seem to be in a good mood right now.

Celtic’s defeat in the forthcoming Sturm Graz match is confirmed.

Daizen Maeda is currently battling a hamstring injury, so it appears that Celtic will be without him for the match. According to CelticsAreHere, Rodgers stated:

“No, Daizen isn’t available. That’s fantastic news for us since Alistair Johnston should be fine, hopefully.
Johnston’s update is at least a good thing. However, the majority of Celtic’s current issues are related to the future.

Despite his awful play this season, Maeda is one of the few players who appears to be able to have an impact in the latter third of the field. Therefore, his injury is a setback, and it is unclear where the goals will come from.
