Cristiano Ronaldo reacts to Ruben Amorim joining Manchester United

Ruben Amorim has been wished “good luck” by Cristiano Ronaldo in his capacity as Manchester United manager.

Amorim assumed the role of United’s new manager this week, following the club’s decision to terminate Erik ten Hag earlier this month.

The 39-year-old will be striving to revitalise United’s season following a sluggish start to the campaign. His team will be travelling to Ipswich Town in the Premier League next Sunday.

Ronaldo’s second tenure at United was terminated due to a series of disagreements with Ten Hag; however, the 39-year-old is enthusiastic about the prospect of Amorim’s success at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo was queried about Amorim’s transfer to United following Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland on Friday night. He responded, “I wish him all the luck in the world.” Manchester United are in dire need of it.

This week, it was asserted that Ronaldo referred to Amorim as a “poet” during conversations with Portugal national team members.

Amorim replied, “Yes.” when enquired about the reference. However, it is somewhat amusing because I enjoy speaking, although I do not communicate frequently. When I do, I believe that I am speaking from the heart. I believe that is the sentiment that individuals possess. It was an experience that was solely intended for enjoyment.

Ronaldo, on the other hand, has disclosed that he may have only two years remaining before retiring.

‘I am finding it to be quite enjoyable. I am uncertain as to whether my retirement from football will occur in one year or two. I am relishing the present moment. The 39-year-old expressed his enthusiasm for football.

“It is the act of waking up, attending training, and playing with a sense of purpose.” I will take a step forward and declare that it is no longer for me when I no longer feel that way. I have not yet experienced that sensation.

‘Am I interested in accomplishing 1,000 objectives? It is common to desire to do so; however, I do not contemplate the possibility. I am contemplating each contest individually. I will be forty years old in three months. I have been behaving in a leisurely manner. Playing for the Portuguese national team is my favourite pastime. I derive immense pleasure from visiting this location. Also, it is beneficial to score goals.
