After bringing up Marcus Rashford as yet another possible target for the French powerhouses, Manchester United and PSG are on the verge of finalising a trade agreement involving Jadon Sancho.
PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte is a player Unied is anxious to recruit, but the Ligue 1 winners demand a star from the Red Devils in exchange. Rashford had a terrible season the previous season and has long been linked to a transfer to the Parc des Princes.

Meanwhile, after the two fell out in September of last year, Sancho has just recently been reintegrated into the team by manager Erik ten Hag. It appears that the former player for Borussia Dortmund may be leaving Old Trafford soon.

It seems that a deal between United and PSG is now close after negotiations that lasted throughout much of the summer. But following those conversations, United must now decide what to do with Rashford.

Sancho is expected to sign a loan agreement with PSG that includes a buy-back commitment, according to The Independent. Sancho, who played brilliantly for Dortmund on loan last season, faced the French team in the Champions League semifinals.

Sancho is reportedly willing to transfer to the French city, while PSG is reportedly open to a deal. The two teams are trying to work out a deal for Ugarte, and those conversations have been a part of those talks.

For the remainder of the summer, defensive midfield is a top priority for United, with Ugarte as their main target. The 23-year-old is reportedly a major fan of Boss Ten Hag, and United’s new hiring staff agrees with the Dutchman.

Not only has United made Rashford an offer to play for PSG, but Sancho is also a target. With the England attacker eager to “knuckle down” against the Red Devils, such a deal now appears improbable.

However, a decision on his long-term future at the club will need to be made given that United chiefs brought him up during transfer talks. Ten Hag believes Rashford will perform at his best even after he squandered a number of big opportunities in the Community Shield.

“No, I believe he was in very good positions multiple times, and I’m glad he’s getting back into those positions.” He will score goals if he keeps moving and making those moves, the United manager stated.

“He has the necessary experience to handle this. The goals will come once he scores one. We’ll let you know when we have any fresh information. We will work with the available squad up until that point.

“It’s obvious that we have issues, and we need to work together. The staff and players need to work together to make the available players available, and it should be a positive working relationship.”
